Since doing a redesign I have done loads (well I think so ) of SEO. I've made my website as compliant as possbile. But yet my googe PR for the site is still on 2.

Any one know what I am doing wrong. Traffic wise the website has more than doubled since the relauch. I just don't understand it. I've got double the amount of links in the search engines than our main competitior, but he has got a better PR

Any one got any advice please

PR represents your lik popularity. Want a higher PR? Get more links pointing to your site.

Cheers mate, got that from the SEO Faq. But the thing that I have found is that I have almost twice as many links to my site in the search engines. Than my competitior, yet he has a better PR??

Not all links are created equal (plus Google doesn't list all links pointing to a site so you can't make a comparison anyways). Higher PR links give you more PR then lower PR links. A link from Google's homepage is worth more then a link from my homepage.
