    Question inserting tubular data

    question, sorry i am a novice at this, i read somewhere that you can only insert tubalr data in to a table, how would you go about inserting data if you don't use tables but divs only, or maybe it can not be done, thx in advance

    You can put whatever you want in a table. Is that what you were asking? Try phrasing the question a bit better.

    Hi,

    I think you are a little confused there

    The recommendations are for not using tables for purely layout reasons but use css where possible to layout your pages.

    Tabular data is what tables were designed for and should still be used (even if you could do it in css) because it makes more semantic sense.

    Tabular data = Tables.
    Layout = css

    Of course its not as easy as that as some designs lend themselves better to tables so its best not to try and duplicate them and their behaviours.

    Paul
