Wow, PayZip Merchant and Personal Account

Hey I am going through the www.Payzip.net and www.payzipmerchant.com websites. Has anyone dealt with these guys? The features look great so far...

[EDITED] ...but, oosh, the transaction fees are a bit spastic.

100.00 € to open an account, 5.50% per transaction, and 5.00 € just to issue a refund is quite expensive. Is PayPal service not good in Australia?

Hi Dan,
PayPal is almost completely useless in Australia. The *******s dont let us accept credit card payments. The closes thing we have is Paymate which is good, but you can only accept Visa and Mastercard, and if customers choose the Mastercard option it has to be converted to AU Dollars.

Besides 2checkout and WorldPay there seems to be few options for international trade because of currency conversion discrepencies.

2Checkout provides a third party merchant account but their prices rates are quite good. We use it and have no problems.

Are you sure they dont? Do you have a business/premier account?

Yep I still have my PayPal business account, and I have no idea why I havnt closed it yet.

Well then you should be able to accept credit cards... It's just that for non-american premier/business accounts, the customer has to sign-up for a paypal account in the process - but still able to pay via credit card.

Yes, it is. Hopefully they will make the US options available to non-us accounts, too.

Have you considered something like ikobo? Apparently their service has improved in recent months.

Enormous? Who? Paypal or Ikobo? They both have small fees compared to others...
