I always play on Legacy or whatever. Golden Eye controls. Left trigger moves backwards and forwards and rotates view. Right one strafes and changes the view up and down.

Sadly, while Halo2 seemed good when it came out, as soon as HL2 came out it was shown just how lacking it truly was. One of my friends, who works for a large review site, agreed with me on this point stating that if he had played Halo2 after HL2 he probably would've given it an 8 instead of a 9.2. Oh well... the multiplayer is pretty decent.

I agree completely. Half Life is amazing. While Halo is still awesome, Half Life is just that much better. Halo now feels... plastic... toylike. Like I'm playing with Barbies and GI Joes instead of engaging in combat. Half Life gets me all hot and bothered. As I'm being gunned down by a squad of Combine soldiers I'm screaming "Oh [explitive deleted]! Run! [explitive deleted]! Hide!" Then as soon as you duck behind cover to reload and empty the fresh dump you just left from your Hazard Suit, a grenade rolls in a finishes you off.

At one point in the game, I had one of the most satisfying game moments ever: I shot a crossbow bolt at a soldier who was up on the catwalk of a billboard advertisement. The bolt pierced his head and pinned him to the billboard, leaving his body dangling in the air. At that moment, my buddy and I both went "HAHAHA [explitive deleted] YEAH!"

I liked HL2 so much that half way through I went out and dropped $400 on a new Radeon x800 Pro. Now I'm playing though again on Hard difficulty. Meanwhile I still have 2 chapters left to go on Halo 2 campaign...

Halo 2 multiplayer still rocks though. Except that now I'm getting spanked by everyone who is better than me. I'll be lucky to hold on to my level 8 in the Rumble Pit.

No matter how much I played SoCom and SoCom2 I never got comfortable with the controls like in Halo and Halo 2. Not really sure why.

Halo 2 was good but the ending was really dissapointing.
The whole game was way too short.

i havent got it for the xbox yet im not sure weather to or not theres alot of bad stuff goin around bout it at the moment i think that multiplayer rules but i think the story line just isnt as good

Finished the campaign last night. Was cool. I liked the story. I liked the ending. The last couple levels were kinda uninsteresting though. Be sure to watch through the credits for one last cutscene.

I'm not buying an Xbox just so MS can psych me out in the first quarter 05 and come out with H2 PC.... Patience grasshoppa.
