    Vertical Nav Menu does not display correctly in Mozilla/NS7

    I have a page with a vertical nav menu. Basically it is just an unordered list:

    http://www.evolutionmsport.com/newHome.php

    In IE6.0 it works fine, for IE 5/5.5 I think I just need to mess with some of the CSS to incorporate the broken box stuff. Nevertheless, in Mozilla and Netscape the Nav menu does not display properly. It looks like it is trying to go horizontal rather than vertical.

    Anyone have any ideas?

    Thanks....Mike

    Hi Mike,

    Hmm you've made that a bit awkward with the same name styles in the sam stylesheet

    Delete this line altogether :
    Code:
    #navcontainer>ul#navlist li a { width: auto; }
    and change the code as follows:
    Code:
    ul#navlist li
    {
    float:left;
    margin: 0 1px;
    padding: 0px;
    }
    Hopefully that will work (you may need to clear the list afterwards if necessary.

    Yeah, I have to fix that. I keep changing my site and I always paste test stuff in.

    I will try the changes and see what I come up with.

    Thanks...Mike

    Paul,

    Thanks, it looked like that worked. I had to add a list-style:none for nestscape, but it now looks good.
