    css page

I'd like to do a page similiar to this:
    _____________________________________________________
    |........................HEADER..................................................................|
    |____________________________________________________|
    | _____... _________________________________ .. _______ ....|
    | |.........|..|....Main news box...................................|...|............|......|
    | |left....|..|...............................................................|..|.right..|......|
    | |nav...|..|________________________________|..|..box...|......|
    | |box...|..._______________....._______________...|.(long..|......|
    | |......|.....|another box .........|...|.another box........|...|...est).|.......|
    | |____|...|______________ |...|______________|....|_____|........|
    |_____________________________________________________|
    .

I've never seen any tutorial for this style. (sorry for the poor art work, the dots represent spaces)

EDIT How can I preformat the text? It's not aligning properly

haha, 10 points for that diagram.

I'm not really sure what you mean, but there are loads of layouts available for you to have a look at at places like this...

hehe, okay I found something similar:
    http://www.sercotransarctic.com/home

Not that fancy, I just want it set up like the the top story & two underneath on that site, a header above, except I want a left & right nav box on the left & right sides... and a frame around the page.

    Hi,

Here's a basic example of a floated three column layout that you may be able to use.

The left and right columns are repeated background gifs to give the illusion of an equalising columns.

Thanks! Now is there a way to put a frame around the entire page?

yeah, just wrap the whole thing in a container div and give that the attributes that you want. Something like this...

    Or something like this

Although I think this is more complicated than what you want.

(I've only done that quickly so its untested as yet)
