    Did you just add them?

Could be from one to two months. It's hard to tell these days.

The PR on the Toolbar isn't updated as frequently as actual PR in the engine, so they'll probably be working before you see the PR change on the bar.

You mentioned PR so I mentioned PR in my respons. I said that you may see PR 0 even after your links go into effect. You obviously use Google's toolbar for something... I was simply warning that you might not see it change when your new links contribute to the SE results.

My answer stands for the ranking in both SEs. Links still take a bit of time... could be a month. Could be two.

I'm saying it can take up to a month or so (2 months to be certain) before new incoming links affect the SERPs. Now, that depends where the links come from. It's quite likely that links from a high-PR site will go into effect sooner.

Web content may show up sooner, yes. But it's not as strong in Google.

Unfortunately, no SEO is instant. A good page builds up its Web presence gradually. But fortunately, those are the pages that last.

No, it's not going to take a month or two for Google to pick up on links to you from a PR5 page. It really depends how often Google crawls the site, and with a PR5 it's probably going to be less than a week, nothing like a month or two. I think fatnewt just wasn't explaining himself clearly. He was just saying that in some (other) circumstances it might take that long. I think that's what he was trying to say anyway.

I think you hit that on the head.
