Lately I've been debating with myself whether to pursue a career with my web design, marketing, or writting skills. I seem to have a nice even divide of them, but they seem to be my best skills.
In school (my marketing class) we started to do little activites on the career website:
I figured I would share the great resource as it has a good interest profiler and helped me get a good list of jobs that I might be interested in. All three of mine showed up on the list after doing majority of the survey like activies, but I think that it gives me a bases for a career to look into.
I advise that you try this out if your really looking for the best career path suited for you.
This isn't for only the great Floridians either D), everybody can use this pretty well thought career profiler.
Glad that you like it. I use it in my marketing class all the time, mainly busy work. It really helps to narrow down the field that you would be best in.
Be aware though that it can give you no results. If I use all the test that I've taken together for a job search I get nothing. But if I only use certain ones that are more important I get a good, wide span of career paths.
I checked out the resume builder. Definitly a useful tool for HS students.
There should be a difference though between the adult version and the version for HS kids.
