    Netscape 4 and padding

    * Before we start I'd like to ask that this not turn into a, "Why are you worrying about NN4?" thread. I have been told that I must design for it and so I am.

I've read that NN4 supports CSS padding but I am unable to get it to work for me. I have some content in a table cell and I've tried to apply padding to it with no success. I've also thrown that same content into a div (within that same table cell) and tried using padding, and margin for that matter, with no effect. Am I chasing a red herring? Or am I just implementing wrong?

NN4 does support padding somewhat, but it's extremely buggy. Can you post the CSS and HTML you're trying to work with?

I uploaded a static page for NN4 only. The style is embedded in the head.

Here's a list of Netscape 4.x padding/margin problems that may help you out:
