    Question Refresh a target window

    Is it possible to refresh any open window?

    something like window. targetwindow .reload();

    yes, you need to name your windows when you open them if you wish to reference them:

    window1.reload();
    window2.reload();

    window is the default name if none is specified - hence the 'window.dosomething.' using the window name of a named window tells it which window to perform the action on.

    window.open('url to open','window name','attribute1,attribute2')

    example: window.open('bob.php', 'bobs window', 'height=200, width=200')
