    Think I have gone about this the wrong way... advise and help please

    Hi

    Could someone take a look at how I have set this up http://dmumford.bizhat.com/site/

    You can see what I want to achieve at http://dmumford.bizhat.com/site/layout.jpg

    I have used absolute positioning for the header elements, I was wondering is there a better (less classes etc) way of what I am trying to achieve or is the way I have done it okay?

    Your advice and help would be much appreciated!!

    Looks great to me. I just thought a few small things could be cleaned up :
    Code:
    body, html {
    	margin:0;
    	padding:0;
    	text-align:center;
    	color:#000;
    	background: url(images/bground-wrapper.jpg) #8E8E8E repeat-y center top;
    }
    #wrapper{
    	width:756px;
    	margin: 0 auto;/* center for compliant browsers*/
    	text-align:left;
    }
    #header{
    	width:100%;
    	height:247px;
    	background:#fff;
    	position:relative;
    }

    Thanks for the reply, what I have noticed in IE5 is that there is a white pixel border to the right of the header any ideas why it is doing it, don't think its IE's pixel jog..

    any ideas?
