    Although I can't read your language the pages you have made look a lot easier to navigate than the original. It is much easier on the eyes.

    All pages look nice, clean and blend in well, easy to understand from a layout point of view, well done and good luck.

    Hi Kosta,

    I like it. My favourite type of layout.

    Some concerns:

    - Your flash menu is just too slow, and not smooth enough. Why not throw the frame-rate up to 25+ fps?

    - The code could be a little better. The layout is perfect for table-less CSS.

    But then again, there's always room for improvement.

    Good job.

    Thanks everyone very much

    Egor,

    I will take your advice about flash menu, thanks. It is a bit slow because I wanted to reduce the file size as much as possible, and it seems I'd overdone it.

    The code? Oh well, I have to admit that Dreamweaver "codes" for me. Tableless layout is not an option for me atm because... erm... I don't know how to do it yet

    Thanks.

    Anyone elses oppinion is gratly appreciated!

    Regards,
    Kosta

    I just viewed the site looks nice and clean which is importent. As for the Flash Button bar on the top i see it as a waste if you don't add a very small mp3 sound to play on over, Otherwise why even use the flash bar,
    One plus would be it could be in English, however sometimes that is hard when costs of development limit the webmaster from proceeding into translations. one low cost way to do this is with babelfish translator. However if most of the people whom are supposed to view the site do not require other langauges it would not be needed, Also the translations could be messy, Or even worse no one at the company speeks the langauge you translated it to then someone would be very confused

    Or maybe there is a english or other langauge button but i cannot navigate to it ... looks like a construction company that relates to Brick and Mortar construction but i cannot read it, contacts at the top of the page (i think) is a good idea for people who just want to talk on the phone,

    So over all i would say to, Improve compression on Flash/Jpeg images if not allready done so, Increase Ambience sound effects ( easy with flash buttons )
    and make Hover sound effects on the buttons... and get the site translated if required if the company deals with people other then the default lanagauge

    Zdravo,

    Nice but the pictures need to be resized better and the fonts as well. I would drop the flash though since most people in Serbia are still on dialup

    clean and easy to navigate website, i think you did a great job. too bad we couldn't see the logo, without it i think the website is a little bit boring. But then again, i'll check back later when the logo is inserted.

    Ciao

    http://www.kostamijic.com/sitepoint/...late_flash.htm
    Has:
    0044: [1]^<embed src="flash/nav3.swf" quality=high pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/shockwave/download/index.cgi?P1_Prod_Version=ShockwaveFlash" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="610" height="30">[2]^[3]^</embed>
    ----:[1]^Warning: <embed> is NOT approved by W3C.
    ----:[1]^Note: <embed> is NOT supported by HTML 4.0 standard..
    ----:[1]^Hint: <embed> tag is supported by major browsers.
    ----:[2]^Error: unnecessary </embed> end tag.
    ----:[2]^Hint: the <embed> element does not require an end tag.
    ----:[3]^Warning: discarding unnecessary </embed>.
    ----:[3]^Repair: discarding unnecessary </embed> tag.

    I would fix the Flash menu, either speed it up and sharpen the text a tiny bit. Otherwise looks smooth.

    Making your flash accesible

    Structure your flash code like this and it will validate

    <object type="application/x-shockwave-flash" data="media/frontpage.swf" width="550" height="487">
    <param name="allowScriptAccess" value="sameDomain" />

    <param name="movie" value="media/frontpage.swf" />
    <param name="quality" value="high" />
    <param name="wmode" value="opaque" />
    </object>

    Beautiful design! I love the look. It's very clean and proffessional. I can't say a thing about it that isn't good I'd like to see what It looked like with a logo though. Are you in charge of that as well?

    A lot cleaner and neater than the original one.
    Why so long a front page , you have to scroll far down on 1024x768.
    The scrolling on the menu seem unnessesary and a bit slow maybe a highlight effect would work better.
    A lot of text on the front page also.
    Coming on well though.

    The first was in pretty clean, but Im not a fan of the text in the flash menu.
    Second one is clean also, maybe fill in the white space in the left bottom corner with something.
    I think three is the best one out of those layouts.

    Thank you for all your answers!

    Grand:
    Adding sound to flash would just require time to load, I don’t like the idea. Thanks for saying it, though. The site will be in English too, majority of texts are ready.

    Hajduk:
    Hvala na komentaru I don’t quite understand this part: “the pictures need to be resized better and the fonts as well”. Could you elaborate on it? As for the flash nav, I figured out it loads much faster than it would if those were images. It’s less than 2k in size, and I am only concerned with the number of people here having flash player. Anyway, there is text nav at the bottom za svaki slucaj. Pozdrav!

    Langedav:
    They already have a logo, I just need to get the source file for it. Thanks for jumping in.

    <div>:
    Thanks for the tip, I will play with it for sure!

    Spxy:
    It’s because that is the “about us” page. I figured out it would be better to present some content on the homepage than “Welcome to our site” or “Click here to enter”. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

    Toughshot:
    Thanks for jumping in.

    Thank you all once again,
    Kosta

    Anyone else has a comment?

    Kosta, the fonts could be a bit sharper I think. As for the pictures, I clicked on the old link so disregard that comment.

    Tha site looks great.
    One thing I noticed was the phone numbers in the top, They kinda messed up the header. Maybe if you made a "button", that if they hold their mouse over it the phone numbers apear. It can be done both with css and flash.
    Anyway I'm sure your client will be wery happy with the layout...
