    A link runs a script that opens a pop-up edit window. After making changes via form, the user presses the submit button.

    I know of a way to close the window using onclick, but is there a way I can also tell the browser to reload the main page (with the link to the edit pop-up)?

    Thanks!

    If you're not posting the form to the parent window, you can just use this in your child window:

    window.opener.location.href = 'yourParentPage.html';

    If you're posting your form to the parent window, there's a different way to do it. Let me know if that's the case.

    Posting back to the parent page would be cool. That's how I'd prefer working this if it's not too funky.

    I've used the method found at http://developer.irt.org/script/408.htm , which worked fine for me.

    It opens the popup, you fill in the values on the popup form, hit submit, it passes the values to the parent, and the parent submits the form.

    You'll probably have to tweak the script a bit, but it's fairly painless.
