Spacing & Border problems in Mozilla Based Browers

I am having a problem and need to fix it before I go any further.

The new page format I am designing looks as I want it to in IE however the borders seem to be missing from Firefox, netscape, etc. browsers. Also.. the backround images on the left side aren't lining up properly as there is a small 1 or 2 pixel white space which I cannot figure out. Can anyone tell me why this is happening.

    Any help is appreciated.

    Hi,

Mozilla doesn't seem to like the keyword thin when used in the format that you have.

Replace all thin keywords with 2px instead.

I just ran the page through the W3C's validator and it threw up some errors which might need to be addressed (not sure they will fix the border problem though:

    • The & character in your title should probably be replaced with the & character reference

    • The DOCTYPE you've chosen doesn't like the use of /> at the end of your META tags. This may be more important because I think Mozilla based browsers are more picky about this sort of thing than IE

The border problem looks like it may be because you haven't specified any border-color in your style sheet. I think IE is probably defaulting whereas Firefox is simply not giving you a colour, maybe? . . .

    OMG! ....

Thank you both, Paul so simple...it fixed everything. The site looks pretty much identical now in all browsers.

    Thanks a ton.
