    Banned by Google?

    Hello all Sitepoint members!

I like to ask you all for some inputs and advice. My site www.rbay.com has been online since June 2004. I have several backlinks but I still have a PR of 0. The site came up #1 in Google's SERP for keyword "rbay" but after the recent Google update, its nowhere to be found. The funny thing is one of my sub-pages www.rbay.com/Spy has a PR of 3. Does anyone have any idea whats going on? Has my site been banned for purchasing links?

    Thanks for you time!

I'd say they're penailizing your for the name. Look how close the letter 'R' is to 'E' on your keyboard I'm not saying that this was your intention but I'd guess that's what they've done.

I had a website that was banned for no apparent reason, and the only solution for me was to get a new domain name.
