    Question CSS UL out of alignment in IE.

    Hey all,

    I'm having trouble identifying why my <ul> CSS will not align properly in all IE's. You can see it on the homepage of my site, but it happens on other pages too.

    Usually either the top or bottom one or two <li> items are slightly misaligned.

    Any suggestions would be appreciated.

    Thanks
    Jon

    Hi,

    the problem on your home page has nothing to do with the lists itself but rather content that is below the floated left content. This is caused by ie's 3 pixel jog where 3pixels of padding are added to static content alongside floats.

    You can cure the problem with this fix.
    Code:
    /* commented backslash mac hiding hack \*/
    * html .pagetext{height:1%;}
    /* end hack */
    I assume the other pages are similar to this but if not provide a link to the items in question.

    (You can read about the 3 pixel jog in the faq on floats as you may wish to add the other parts of the hack to offest the extra spacing added by ie. The height:1% just lines it up nicely but doesn't address the space issue. However it may not be a problem for you and may not be worth the extra code.)
