I'm trying to get a drop-down menu to appear over a quicktime movie. I've seen this work for a drop-down movie appearing over flash using wmode=transparent, but haven't had any luck getting a drop-down to appear over quicktime. Any ideas?
I've had a look around to see if there are any solutions (or occurrences for that matter) but there doesn't seem to be a way of doing this. I think QT is embedded into a browser as a object but can't really be controlled as easily as Flash.
If you're determined to get this effect working, my only solution is to import your QT into Flash and have a Flash menu appear over the video.
Thanks for your suggestion Bigsi. Looks like the best way for me to solve this is to place the Quicktime inside Flash and then use wmode=transparent to have my drop down menus appear over the top. Thanks for your help.
