I went to see Resident Evil 2 yesterday. It was ok, but I liked the first one much better.

They seem to be very loosely following the game storylines.
Wonder if the next one will be related to Code: Veronica.
They haven't followed the games exactly in both movies, but I'd say it has been pretty close.

I thought the first Resident Evil film was poor, although I loved the scene where the soldiers are trapped in the laser room
