I watched Team America on Sunday. Very funny movie! Not for the faint of heart that's for sure.

I heard Shaun of the Dead was really good.

I'm waiting for Resident Evil 2 to come out. Anyone saw it?

I also saw Team America: World Police this weekend. It's hilarious, but if you're easily offended or unable to handle ridiculousness, you'd probably best steer clear of it.
I loved it though.
I also saw Taxi recently. It got a few bad reviews, but I thought it was very entertaining.
I saw it... it was good.Originally Posted by Toly

RE2 rocked Toly... definately go see that.
Any other good movies on the horizon?

Great! Thanks for the replies.

I want to see Shaun of the Dead as well, looks pretty funny![]()
Saw Friday Night Lights last weekend. Pretty good stuff.
I grew up in the area the film was based in so that might have been extra incentive for me. Not much to say from that though. High School football is so big and emphasized in West Texas because there is nothing else to do.

I saw RE 2 aswell.
I think it's a good movie with a lot of action but my main problem with it was that the fight sequences were cut so fast which made it a little difficult to follow.
It's an action movie and there is hardly any slow moment during the entire film. It goes from one fight to another.

I watched Napoleon Dynamite recently, Hilariousand weird
, defiantly the indie movie of the year.
p.s. sweet![]()
So I am wondering what you put here?

I saw Shaun of the Dead when it first came out over here (in the summer) and it's definitely worth seeing
Tom Cruise's new film Collateral is pretty good too!

I've heard Collateral is pretty average.. can't really comment myself though. Going to see Anchorman this arvo, let you know how it was![]()

I thought Collateral was a very good movie. I'd recommend it.

Didn't end up seeing Anchorman, saw Resident Evil instead. To be honest it didn't really turn me on, was okay but very predictable. Very very predictable and I hadn't even seen the first one. Still, it was okay.

I thought RE2 was horrible. It had a few decent moments (and Sienna Guillory was an excellent Jill Valentine, heh heh), but overall it was predictable and a bit boring. The fight scenes suffered from the "shaky cam" syndrome, where there wasn't much real fighting, but a lot of blurred camera movement and stuff.
Plus, it was more action oriented than horror, which disappointed me because the RE games were more focus on horror.
Friday Night Lights is a good movie.
I just saw the Punisher for the first time last weekend, and it was excellent. It really surprised me, I thought it would be medicore.
(sorry for the plug.)
Sing in a band called Psychostick, Alfredo Afro.
Team America was very funny. Trey Parker & Matt Stone do a good job at this sort of parody, it isn't one sided, they rip on everyone.

Anyone seen "The Terminal" with Tom Hanks?
Yeah it sucked.Originally Posted by SuperFunZoo

If that's true, then Speilberg(he did direct "The Terminal", didn't he?) needs to stop doing movies with Tom Hanks in them, because "Catch me if you can" kinda sucked too.Originally Posted by Cam

Nah, I'm sure there is somebody out there who liked The Terminal, it just didn't turn me on.
There aren't any good movies.

If you can still find it, Garden State is the greatest movie I have ever seen.
And I have seen a LOT.
