    Advanced Firefox Settings

    Hi

I remember at some time in the past I've typed an address in the address bar of Firefox to view a long settings page in the browser window. I think it was something like "about:settings" but I can't remember what it was.

Can anyone shed some light on this for me? I've got a really annoying issue where FF keeps requesting authentication for images/Flash on our Intranet pages and I've heard theres a "silent" NTLM setting that needs to be changed.

    Cheers for any help,
    Si

Danny boy - you're a star!!! I've now sorted the problem out and I'm a happy bunny!

For anyone else who encounters this problem in FF PR1, do this:
    1. In the address bar, type in about:config
    2. Type network.automatic-ntlm-auth. in the filter bar
    3. Set allow-proxies to false
    4. Set trusted-uris to the host of any intranet addresses you use
    5. BAM - no more repeated authentication requests! Just the one at the start!
