    CSS compatibility issue with IE

    This: http://www.mallowweb.com/test/test.html

    Is supposed to look like or at least similar to this: http://www.mallowweb.com

    Well, it looks fine in Firefox, but not IE.

    I am trying out a table-less design, and it works fine in FireFox and Safari, but not IE on Windows. But I'm a IE user, and I know many many people are, so I need to try and fix it. I'm at a loss for what to try now.

    Code:
    #navigation {
    	background: url(http://www.mallowweb.com/images/bg2.gif) repeat-x;
    	width: 100%;
    	height: 25px;
    	float: left;
    	margin: 0px;
    	padding: 0px;}

    #navigation li {
    	display: inline;
    	list-style-type: none;
    }

    #navigation-top-border {
    	background: url(http://www.mallowweb.com/images/bg1.gif) repeat-x;
    	width: 100%;
    	height: 3px;
    	float: left;
    	margin: 0px;
    	padding: 0px;
    }

    #navigation-bottom-border {
    	background: url(http://www.mallowweb.com/images/bg3.gif) repeat-x;
    	width: 100%;
    	height: 5px;
    	float: left;
    	margin: 0px;
    	padding: 0px;
    }
    I'm at a loss for what to try, I've searched everything I can. Anyone have any ideas?

    Thanks!

    You're making it unnecessarily complex. Instead of having a top-border and bottom-border just combine them into one background image that repeats. Not sure exactly what the problem was but it works fine if you just have the one #navigation ID, like so. (i combined all 3 navigation background images)

    Wow! Thank you so much. I have no clue why I couldn't think of that O_o

    I knew the fix for it was something really stupid. Thanks again.
