    Exclamation Changed link color messed up my div's...help!

    The left column in my page is messed up (Here is the link to the page: http://www.freewebs.com/newts_site/display.xhtml) I changed the link colors in CSS, and then the div on the top part of said left column messed up, and the Quote header and text below is messed up. Also, all the source code is supposed to be grey colored, and the text below the word quote a blue color. The word quote should look like the phrase Did you know?
    Here's a link to the CSS: http://www.freewebs.com/newts_site/3col_leftnav.css
    I am so utterly confused.
    Thanks,
    newt

    Ummmm....

    Unless your server is configured to do so (e.g. parse .xhtml as .html ), you cannot use a .xhtml file extension.

    Change that file extension so we can see what's going on.

    My Freewebs doesn't parse XHTML >_< My future server will, though.
    I'll change the extension. http://www.freewebs.com/newts_site/display.html

    Hi,

    You have a missing bracket in your css here that may be upsetting things.
    Code:
    .h3{
     position: relative;
     margin: 0px;
     padding: 0px 0px 10px 10px;
     font-size: 70%;
     background-color: #FFFFFF;
    }/*missing bracket*/
    .feature img{
     float: left;
     padding: 10px 10px 0px 0px;
    }
    You should run your css through the validator as it picks typos up straight away

    Paul
