IE on a MAC hacks needed please

Have a look at this in any current browser you like (Mac or PC) except Mac IE 5.1 and lower.

    http://www.phoenixlondon.co.uk/clien...kepolonsky.htm

Now have a look at it in Internet Explorer on the Mac... EEK!

Can anyone help me with the necessary hacks to sort this problem out?

    Hi,

I don't think you'll get that layout to work for ie5 mac without spending a great deal of time on it.

Mac doesn't like the height:100% so you need to hide that anyway but mac has loads of other bugs that might get in the way also.

    http://www.macedition.com/cb/ie5macbugs/

The only way to fix it properly is to start from scratch and fix each element as you go so that you build on something that works in ie5 mac. Strip the page down to the basic elements and add one back in ata time as you fix them. However I don't think ie5 mac will cope with the techniques in that layout anyway. Your best bet would be to make a simplified version of the page and give mac that css and let other browsers have the more complicated css.

Or change your design to something simpler.

Sorry I can't be specific but it really is a matter of testing as it isn't one simple issue.

    Paul

However none of the options are simple and could take some time to sort out. My macs nor connected at the moment and it would be a pain to copy all that across (framsets and all).
