    Slight CSS issue

    Hi there -

I've got a slight CSS issue (I believe)

    For my new directory:
    http://www.platinax.co.uk/directory/

the cells in the top left and top right have extra padding from the rest of the site - ie:

    http://www.platinax.co.uk
    http://www.platinax.co.uk/news/

It's only a small issue, but it looks unprofessional and presentation is important.

However, I simply cannot fathom what needs correcting in this particular issue - I simply cannot see where the cells are treated differently from the homepage and news blog, as per the example URLs.

Any help much appreciated - surely just some silly little thing as always.

    Hi,

Its the default margin/padding on the p element.

    Code:
     <p style="text-align:center;margin:0;padding;0"><b>Web Resources:</b></p>
Of course you should make that inline style a class and put it in your stylesheet.

    Hi Paul -

Thanks for the reply - but I'm a little confused - I don't at all see that style element in the source code, either in the original files, Firefox, or IE. Am I looking in the wrong place?

    All I see is:

    Code:
       <p align="center"><b>Web Resources:</b></p>

lol - Yes thats the problem Change your code to mine and all will be ok (except make it a class and not an iline style etc).

The p element had default margins and padding that differs between browsers. Its your job to cotrol the space explicitly
