What is a good free stats tracker.

What is a good free stats tracker/counter service.

I have used webtrendslive and stats4all.

I'm now looking for one that lets me block out my own hits by IP address, ie. 203.27.233.* - because at the moment I'm getting about 30 unique visitors per day, but most of those hits belong to just one visitor: me! It skews the results because I spend a lot of time on my own site.

I admit to be partial towards *free* SiteMeter as I have used them for over 3 years and SiteMeter's Webmaster Dave Smith keeps adding new features and will answer your emails quickly...You can also keep your counter transparent on your pages! But even the small graphic that is offered doesn't overpower like others do!

Graphs & stats will tell you what you need to know and you can have them emailed to you regularly. You can customize how you want your site to be tracked, including *NOT* having yourself counted as a hit. But it doesn't track specific pages (at least yet). Use the JAVA HTML version and it will track referrals to your website~~

I use The Counter. It's lacking in a few areas, but at least you can see where your hits are coming from and you can also block yourself from being counted...

SiteTracker http://sitetracker.com is new but it has awesome functionality.

Here's another vote for thecounter.com - I like that you don't have to see it, it's free, fast, and gives you a ton of good stats.

Yes I still use thecounter.com on some of my free sites. However, with a decent host you should also get detailed stats.

When you say detailed stats, can you give some examples? Are there any freebies out there that offer better stats than thecounter.com? Thanks..

I like WhozOnTop. It will track all of your pages and you only need a simple link logo on the bottom of your main page.

Unfortunately, it doesn't have the option of blocking you out.
For that I'd recommend The Counter. http://www.thecounter.com/
