    Thumbs down Ooops! I seem to have posted a topic twice!

    Where do I apologise for a boo boo? Somehow (I don't know how) the topic got posted twice and I cannot see any way to delete one. I guess it's an admin's privelidge.

    Don't worry. An advisor or team leader will spot it soon enough and delete it. They'll then come looking for you with their billy clubs and torches and lynch you. Nothing to worry about.

    A snippet of JavaScript can solve that problem pretty easily. Just disable the submit button after it has been pressed. Or just set the onsubmit eventhandler to false. Great way for ecommerce sites to weed out accidental duplicate orders, too.

    It is a newly discovered race condition that was found. If a site is slow to respond, you can submit multiple queries and have them succeed before the limit is checked on the first query.

    The developers are working on it. Under most circumstances you are correct though, he would have received an error.
