    My web host has PHP4 support. I couldn't get the mail funciont to work so I asked them if PHP was setup for their sendmail program and they didn't seem to know anything about it. I told them to look in the php.ini file and configure it there and this is the response I got:

    "I've searched our entire system and we do not have a php.ini file anywhere. This is probably because we are running an early release of php4. As soon as our webserver software can support the latest version of PHP, we will be upgrading and this should fix the problem you are seeing."

    They are using Zues web server on Unix, not windows. Does anyone know anything about this?

    Thanks
    Jason

    create a PHP script with this sole function in it:

    Code:
    <?php

    phpinfo();

    ?>
    and look through that... it should tell you everything about the setup. And, ALL versions of PHP4... even the early ones have a PHP.INI file..l. I even think that it is in all versions, but I'm not positive.

    God Bless

    Thanks for the help. I created a file like Alex said and sure enough, it showed the path to the php.ini file. But I found out that I was doing something wrong with the mail function.

    BTW, love the picture of Stewy Kevin

    Thanks again
