Question HTML Utuopia & DW MX 2004

    Hi,

I recently got the HTML Utopia book, which is superb. CSS is becoming much much clearer

    One question though.

When I load the sample code from the archive into DW MX2004, the view in the design window is really odd. e.g. The different DIVs appear in the wrong places. The navigation appears on the right

Its fine when I preview it in IE6 or Mozilla though.

Is thre a way to get DWMX 2004 to actually show the layup correctly?

    No.

Dreamweaver's rendering engine simply isn't as standards-compliant as most Web browsers'.

All you can do is try to disable the display of some invisible elements in design view:
Edit > preferences > invisible elements
