    how to Enable mhash on linux server?

    Hi all,

    when i am trying to use mhash functions in my php page its giving error Like this:

    Fatal error: Call to undefined function: mhash() in /home/virtual/site1/fst/var/www/html/authnet/simlib.php on line 17

    I know mhash is missing from my php installation. How to add mhash module to my present php without recompiling the php and install. My server has high traffic.

    Please any one here can tell me the way to avoid mhash errors.

    Os= Redhat Linux:7.2
    php=4.3.2

    Thanks,
    sharma

    Is the php on your machine an rpm or a source build ? , if an rpm you may be able to update via yum etc without any major headaches or see http://phprpms.sourceforge.net/mhash

    Else (more likely) you will have to download and build the mhash libraries (http://mhash.sourceforge.net/) then recompile php.
