What's the CSS equivalent for nowrap?

    As the question says...

Seriously though, the nowrap="nowrap" attribute in table cells was quite useful but I can't seem to find the equivalent for CSS.

Any ideas? (if it's blindingly obvious, I'm sorry - it's one of those days today!)

The white-space: nowrap; declaration also works on elements other than table cells. It's a good way to replace the non-standard <nobr></nobr> tag.
