    Creating 2 columns with DL, DT, and DD's?

    I am forming a databased processed list using a DL with DT and DD's.

    Its going to be a decent sized list, and I would like to have it so a 2nd column is created.

    Regarding css, how would I get it to work with the following

    Code:
    <dl id="categoryname">
    <dt>Blah Title</dt>
    <dd>blah item</dd>
    <dd>blah item</dd>
    <dd>blah item</dd>
    ....

    <dt>Blah Title 2</dt>
    <dd>blah item</dd>
    <dd>blah item</dd>
    <dd>blah item</dd>
    ....

    </dl>
    Any help is appreciated.

    Thanks
    Bryan

    ooooooh, nice site btw.

    I will look at the css tommorow. But a temporary fix, which turns out to work well is that I have made it so dynamically, a new DL is created, and then I just floated the dl's left and gave them a width of 280px each. And it all seemed to work out

    I got my reasoning for doing this at http://superfluousbanter.org/ where he uses the following code to get his 2 columns of links for his OUTSIDE links on the right.

    Code:
    #sidebar ul#outsidelinks {
    list-style:none;
    font-size:10px;
    line-height:18px;
    margin:-5px 0 10px 12px;
    padding:0;
    width:225px;
    }
    #sidebar ul#outsidelinks li {
    float:left;
    width:100px;
    padding-left:12px;
    background:url(../i/bg_listitem_orangeongreen.gif) no-repeat 0 50%;
    }
