How do you mean - do you want to send an HTML mail?

Skunk: I was thinking I would be able to attach a hyperlink to a text string without using HTML mail, but HTML mail may be the only way. Could you give me an example of how you think it should be done?

HTML mail is the only way to provide clickable text word links like this. However, most modern e-mail programs automatically change URLs into clickable links if you put them in as full URLs like this:

    http://www.example.com/

IMO by far the best way to send out links in e-mails is to format them something like this:That way you don't need to mess around with HTML mail (which is an absolute pain) and you also make sure your links are well labelled.

Thanks Skunk: You have confirmed what I thought. I was hoping there was a way to hyperlink text without using HTML mail. Using a text string looks better and can be more descriptive than a URL but not worth the cost of bulky HTML mail.
