    Adding upload between this div

    Hey guys,

    I'm trying to add an upload date to the right of my navigation.

    The index page here shows whats happening ... the date should be aligned right and the navigation should be flush with the text area below it. Any of the other pages show how it looks without the upload date.

    I've used a span to see if that is any use ...

    Code:
    <div id="menu">
     <ul>
        <li id="nav1"><a href="index.html">Home</a></li>
        <li id="nav2"><a href="tractor.htm">Tractor Units</a></li>
        <li id="nav3"><a href="specialist.htm">Specialist</a></li>
        <li id="nav4"><a href="trailers.htm">Trailers</a></li>
        <li id="nav5"><a href="rigids.htm">Rigids</a></li>
        <li id="nav6"><a href="contact.htm">Contact</a></li>
     </ul>
        <span id="uploadDate"><b>Last Updated:</b> Jan 25, 2004</span>
    </div>
    However it dont seem to have worked all that well ...

    css can be found here

    Any help much appreciated ...

    Can't be much help on this one, however your 1st link is misspelled. You might want to correct that.

    Hi,

    Just float it there;

    Code:
    #uploadDate {
    font-size: 10px;
    font-family: verdana, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;
    text-align: right;
    float:right;
    }
    Code:
    	<div id="menu">
    	 <span id="uploadDate"><b>Last Updated:</b> Jan 25, 2004</span>
    <ul>
    		<li id="nav1"><a href="index.html">Home</a></li>
    		<li id="nav2"><a href="tractor.htm">Tractor Units</a></li>
    		<li id="nav3"><a href="specialist.htm">Specialist</a></li>
    		<li id="nav4"><a href="trailers.htm">Trailers</a></li>
    		<li id="nav5"><a href="rigids.htm">Rigids</a></li>
    		<li id="nav6"><a href="contact.htm">Contact</a></li>
    	 </ul>
    	 </div>
    That should work

    Paul

    Edit:

    Or place it absolutely at the end of the line.

    Either way you will still have to work out what you want to happen when the screen is resized.
