    Question what is session_mm_apache0.mem ??

    This is in my /tmp directory .. what is it? does it mean its storing sessions in memory?? I have it set to store sessions in files (there are alot of files in /tmp/sess_* ) but I just wonder what this is?

    Its just an apache shared memory file! I think in terms of session it means the 'session' as in apache running. If it cause a problem and the /tmp directory gets full. The you can use this article to help, It not for windows systems though.
