    Internet overload

A million blogs to read, a trillion forums to visit, and a gazillion newsletters that don't even get opened half the time. Sure it's all great fun, but how does one get any work done?

Me too, but it can sure make getting any work done a challenge. I guess it can be a good exercise in self discipline though.

There is so much to do. You gotta pick what means the most to you and stick with it. Otherwise you will always feel like you missing something; if you worry about the rest out there.

There IS so much to see. That's why I have a gazillion bookmarks. But it's funny that sometimes I get so bored of the internet. I swear there are days when I feel like I've looked at everything on the internet, and there is nothing left.

RSS your way through the blogs!

It saves a lot of time and gives you up to the minute info. It's like getting email that you don't have read very carefully or respond to in any way.

    Here's an RSS article: http://www.sitepoint.com/article/get-off-your-rss

The best way to figure it all out is to download a RSS reader (like Thunderbird) and look for feeds relating to your areas of interest. There are a number of RSS directory sites, I don't know which is the best.

Thanks! I like Thunderbird. I have another question. What is the URL for the sitepoint newsfeed?

Good suggestion, I'm gonna have to get into the RSS thing. I'm behind the times on a lot of this stuff. I just started my own blog, but I don't even know what half the stuff is in the admin area. Pingbacks, TrackBacks, it's all greek to me.

There really is a heap of stuff on the internet that no-one (after a while, not even the owner) bothers to visit or cares about. So...
