    Making site HTML Strict

I have just recently re-launched a site, www.sandiegopegasus.com, as a full CSS site. However, I am SO close to making it validate with HTML Strict. The only thing I can't figure out is how to open links in a new window. The "target" isn't valid in HTML Strict, so how do you get around this?

You don't get around it. Just let people open links in a new window if they want. Anyway, this isn't the right forum, but I thought I'd share my two cents.

You can't use the target attribute on Strict documents. Either throw a Transitional doctype on your page instead, or use scripting like the example below:
    HTML Code:
    <a href="/mypage.html" onclick="window.open(this.href); return false;">My link (opens in a new window)</a>

I agree with Daniel... great job! Makes me want to play soccer (gawd, I'm so impressionable).

Actually, it works -- just needs a semi-colon, not a comma.

    Well done!

Just wanted to point out that there's a small gap between your "Classifieds" and "Scoreboard" graphics, breaking up the soccer ball image in the top image and the head of the player in the lower image.

I'm viewing the site at 800x600 in Internet Explorer v. 6.
