Problem with SSL and flash buttons

Earlier this week I encountered this problem and I thought since it's now fixed that I'd pass along the information here. You never know when someone else will have this problem, right?

I have a site that I just purchased a GeoTrust QuickSSL certificate for. The cert is installed but when going to any page using https:// instead of just http:// I would get the following error message:

This page contains both secure and nonsecure items.

Do you want to display the nonsecure items?
If I chose 'Yes', the page would load but the SSL lock icon would not appear in the bottom of the browser. If I chose 'No', the page would load and the SSL lock icon now appears. There seemed to be no difference when choosing either option.

Also, this only happened in Internet Explorer. I tested everything I knew and the pages loaded fine in Mozilla, Firefox and Opera. I was able to determine that the problem was with the flash buttons I had for navigation on the site. When I removed them from one of the pages, the error no longer appeared. Since I didn't want to remove those buttons, I needed to know how to fix this.

Someone from another forum found a document on Macromedia's site that gives the resolution to this problem. It was quite a simple fix which I'm thankful for. Basically what happens is each button has a 'codebase' command where it points to Macromedia's download site to obtain Flash if a visitor doesn't have it. Those links were still HTTP instead of HTTPS. The full document with solution can be found here.

Again, not sure if anyone else would need this info but since it helped me, I thought I'd post it here as well.
