    E-mail to Database, possible?

Is it possible to have an e-mail address on my server, where when e-mails from a certain person are recieved it modifies a certain table in a specified table? Basically what i have done is designed and coded a website for our band and now iwant our instructor to be able to easily change content on the website, without having to go through phpMyadmin.

It may be easier to create a simple web-interface to do it, but yes, you can use email to do it. You'd need to create a cron job to run a php script that would check the mail account and if there are new messages, to parse the message and update the database.

You can read more about the POP3 and IMAP functions here.
