Annoying Opera "Address: http://..." tooltip

I am usign my own custom DHTML based tooltips and that opera's tooltip overlaps mine...
Any way to suppress it?
Tryed using <img alt="whatever">... Doesnt seem to work.

Nope. Opera's tooltips will override yours every time. It may add the text of a title attribute underneath if it's available, but that's it. My suggestion: leave it alone. Most Opera users are pretty savvy and would only be annoyed by something you force on them.
