Can you edit ASP pages using dreamweaver without being connected to a test server? If so, how?

your question is not clear, explain clearly what do you want, do you want to open your source code in dreamweaver and edit it. Yes you can, all the coded [ASP] part will be highlighted in other color.

You can edit ASP scripts in notepad if you want. You don't need a fancy program, but they usually tend to help if they have correct syntax highlighting.

    yes,
you coudl edit ASP pages, without being connectd to a testing server,

But it would be better to connect to a testing server, you could do so with any of the versions of windows 9x or NT, or 2k

You dont have to be connected.... download your files, edit them locally, then reupload them and replace the ones online (once the good ones work)
