    Hi All,

Getting closer to opening day on a site I am working on. It is my first. I learn something everyday about the site, about working on different types of servers, about coding etc.

I need a list of "Dirty Words" which I can place in my Chat room file and Forum files. I will use it so folks cannot sign up using these words as user IDs and cannot display them in the chat room and/or the forum.

I know this may sound like a crazy question but is there anywhere I can locate a list of words like these???

Thanks in advance for any and all responses.

I have seen such a list in the phpnuke portal software (http://phpnuke.org). There is a list of words to filter, and the software function that is called to filter the words may also be of value to review.

    Hi,

Thank you for responding. I could not locate the file you referred to at phpNuke. Could you give me a more direct link??

The list is contained in the script, specifically the config.php file. Look for the Filter Options section in config.php. The scripts can be downloaded from http://phpnuke.org/download.php?dcat...P-Nuke&sortby= .
