    Hi,

    I was wondering if the following is possible. I own DotDealers.com (a domain name reseller with a couple thousand names), and I registered most of the domains through Dotster.com. They offer a free redirection service which point your domain anywhere you like, but leaves you in their frame.

    Here's what I would like to do... Go to:
    http://www.funnymessages.com/
    or
    http://www.skateboardwear.com/

    Right now almost all my domains are pointing to that page. I could go in and individually assign the correct page at DotDealers.com, so when they type in the name it takes them right to the buy page. The problem is, that would take FOREVER and I am impatient

    I was wondering if there is a way so when someone types in http://www.funnymessages.com/ a script reads the url from the address and redirects them to: http://www.dotdealers.com/search.php...nymessages.com

    Any ideas would be greatly appreciated...

    Thanks,

    Doug Dillard

    Easy.
    So you have all your domains pointing to one page?

    On that page put this:
    PHP Code:
    <?
    $domain
    $HTTP_HOST;
    $domain eregi_replace("www.","",$domain);
    header("Location: http://www.dotdealers.com/search.php?dqe=$domain");
    ?>
    Make sure there is no output to the browser before that and it should work.

    <edit>Rrrr... VB keeps screwing my code, if you use the code just get rid of the <br />'s.</edit>

    It almost works... I know I am screwing something up...

    Go to: www.FunnyMessages.com (It says www.DotDealers.com not found)

    Here is the script I put in:
    http://www.dotdealers.com/script.gif

    also...

    Also... Is there a way to open it in a new window so the Dotster page is still there, but DotDealers is not in a frame?

    Thanks,

    Doug

    Getting a parse error on this line:

    header("Location: <a href="http://www.dotdealers.com/search.php?dqe=" target="_blank">http://www.dotdealers.com/search.php?dqe=$domain");
