IE 6 CSS Width Issue

I am having an issue where IE 6 seems to collapse the right and left sides of the container box (seems to be 3px on both sides). I have measured over and over and everything fits correctly in other browsers, however IE 6 pushes down the image in the #center2 div due to the 6px loss.

I have no idea how to fix this, hope someone can help,

Sounds like a box model issue

Please note that it would be helpful if you would post the answer rather than leaving a thread hanging around with no useful information in it

Sorry about that.

If you are using the xml declaration in the top of your page IE 6 will go into Quirks mode.

If you remove the xml declaration IE 6 will go into Standards mode.

The solution was removing the xml declaration.
