    Hi,

    IM looking for a prgram which lets me write PHP scripts and save them as .php . The webpage editor i have now doesen't let me and when i try it saves it is name.php.htm. And if i use notepad it saves it as name.php.txt

    any help on this would be greatly appreciated !

    TextPad works fine -- however in NOTEPAD when you go to save it, change the FILE TYPE to be "All Files" and then type in filename.php -- that should get rid of the .txt extension.

    I do but it doesn't work. I don't think i have textpad i only have notepad and wordpad

    Textpad is shareware. $27 if you use it. There is a free trial, but it is suppose to be just that, a trial.

    You can save your files the exact same way when using Notepad.
