    How to disable the resize button?

    hi is it possible to disable the resize button just on the left of the 'X' button at the top right corner of the window? Thanks

    However, you could poll the onresize event and use it to initiate a script that would return the window to the original size. I suspect it would be quite annoying, though.

    Try using this :
    window.showModalDialog('about.htm','abcded','dialogHeight: 400px; dialogWidth: 500px; center: Yes; help: No; resizable: No; status: No;');
