    Unordered List problem in IE

    I have used the css example from A List Apart, which is now working. But I am wondering if it is affecting the unordered lists in the main content on the same site.

    An example page (which isn't working in mozilla either) is at www.echocd.co.uk/clients/fullwood/batch-milking.php.

    Other pages seem to work in Mozilla but still not in IE (basically I just see a jumble of words).

    Can anyone see why I have this problem? Do I need to set a class for the ul and li in my main content div?

    Thanks

    Emma

    Hi,

    The problem is that you have styled all ul and li elements on your page here:
    Code:
    /* Fix IE. Hide from IE Mac \*/
    * html  ul li { float: left; }
    * html  ul li a { height: 1%; }
    * html  h1 {padding-top: 6px}
    /* End */
    You need to make it specific.
    Code:
    /* Fix IE. Hide from IE Mac \*/
    * html .prodmenu ul li { float: left; }
    * html .prodmenu ul li a { height: 1%; }
    * html .prodmenu h1 {padding-top: 6px}
    /* End */
    The star selectotr hack only affects ie which is why no other browsers were affected.

    Hope that helps.

    Thanks again Paul.

    Changed all the other classes and divs but didn't think about those.
