    Help for mail() function....

    I juz change my server to iis but now my triggering of emails could nt function.... Emails r nt sent.... I got a default smtp virtual server.... (Mayb better if dun have the smtp server)

    In Default SMTP Virtual Server Properties:

    (In General tab) IP Address: my PC's ip address


    Default SMTP Virtual Server -> Domains :

    domain name: sgp.hp.com
    Type: Local(Default)

    In php.ini:

    [mail function]
    ; For Win32 only.
    SMTP = 127.0.0.1

    ; for Win32 only
    smtp_port = 25

    ; For Win32 only.
    ;sendmail_from = jialing-irene.hu@sgp.hp.com

    Is tere anything wrong with my codes? Pls help... Thanx in advance....

    ok... Sorry bcoz I put 'off' for the display errors in php.ini.... So cant c the error....

    The error is

    Warning: mail(): "sendmail_from" not set in php.ini or custom "From:" header missing in c:\inetpub\wwwroot\electricalSafety\addMemberProcess.php on line 60


    I gt this line in my addMemberProcess.php:

    $headers .= "From: Administrator of FAB Electrical Safety Team\r\n";

    you can use phpmaile function
    http://phpmailer.sourceforge.net/
    read this and try to see if you can get some help out of this, else documentation can help you, I am not really sure what is missing in set-up.

    I gt this line in my addMemberProcess.php:

    $headers .= "From: Administrator of FAB Electrical Safety Team\r\n";

    How about setting it with an address, something along the lines of this:

    PHP Code:
    $headers .= "From: Administrator of FAB Electrical Safety Team <email@youremail.com>\r\n"
