    PHP_Classifieds_Script
Actually, I got this software for free so I shouldn’t complain but I had a few people look at the code and they said it is put together sloppy.
On their site and the wording & spelling in the program itself was atrocious & I was straightening these problems out for them & they gave me the program in exchange. I know; I shouldn’t look a gift horse in the mouth.
It has numerous problems with bugs. Can't get proper support without them telling me some excuse.
Their Categories did not come in alphabetical order. I found the correct code to fix that & their response when I asked for help was that they don’t work on tampered code. Duh! I just gave them the fix to one of their problems & it actually worked for me!
A few of the problems that I have experienced just after loading their original program (without me tampering to even make it look the way I wanted it to look.):
When setting up categories form fields will disappear all of a sudden.
When entering form fields it adds empty spaces with drop down boxes & empty checkboxes when using those. Neither have the capabilities of deleting these spaces or boxes.
If the client puts this down in their description, "I didn't want to sell this boat. My wife made me!"
Here is what will show up: I didn\'t want to sell this boat.mrMy wife made me.
Many more problems to list but I won’t.
Here’s the problem. I LOVE the setup & I love the way it was "supposed" to work and LOVE the way I could add advertisers to every page in the header & footer. I would have liked to have a few changes but can’t find anyone that wanted to mess with it. Can’t even find a classifieds program that comes close to this layout or ease of administration. Anyone wishing to look at the way I have set this up can go to theclassifiedssection (don't forget the wwwanddotcom). Sign in & play with it. I won’t be going on line with it as of yet. Write to me at the contact section in the left hand column.

    Hi guys!
    anyone using noahs?

what would the best option be for a multi country and multi currency classified ads website?
For example ypu can select a country to browse ads and the currency will automatically change to the local currency

    thanks a lot in advance

shwebizonline?? you must be kidding!! initially I thought it was a great script too... but after spending a few hundred hours with it I found so many errors/bugs everywhere!! Support for the errors doesn't exist!! They have no idea what they are doing. Leads me to think its copied or something like that. I say RUN if you don't have computer knowledge because they are not going to help.

Wow.. TomasClid .. You must be so smart ..

What script are you selling ? .. Do you register to blackmail other people script?

It is not the proper way to do business by doing so ...

We would really appreciate that you have spent a few hundred hours on our script.

According to what you have said, our script reach below zero ,even negative ha ha ...

Pls point out just 5 major bugs which effect the operation of the classifieds site or script ..

We are open to accept it ..

You have mention in another thread saying .. SBclassifieds is unbelievably buggy and you have rewrite the core code.

What core code do you rewrite ? haha ..

What is the site that you have rewrite the core code? ha ha

My friend, please improve your knowledge before you blackmail other people script .. .

sorry to disappoint you but I am not selling another script. You should accept clients' feedback I suggest you spend less hours in promoting your buggy script on forums and more time replying to clients who contact you via the "support" center!

If you want to claim that you are our client, why don't you show us your site?

Everyone can claim that he/she is our client here. You can say whatever you like here. Our clients will decide.

Most of you plugging your site are totally legitimate users, and not the site owners/resellers praising your software, and bashing others like the user above. USERS LIKE THESE SHOULD BE IP BANNED

Yep, I tried using both phpclassifieds and Noah classifieds. I like the simplicity and easy setup of PHPclassifieds. It's also very easy to find what's needed to make modifications with PHP. It's intuitive and user friendly. It lacks in creating a some complexity in payment / ad packages. Some of the available mods out there help with that though. My experience with Noah is that the software is easy to install initially, but it is not so user friendly in figuring out how use some of the complex options. I attempted to hire them to make the site turn-key. That was a big mistake! They did not have any concern for my need for a deadline, my need for communication, and for a product that was ready for business. They simply dropped the ball. They left such a bad taste in my mouth that I ultimately sided with phpclassifeds.

    Hi Adam.

Yes you may check this classified software by Flynax.com That company developed classified scripts for general, auto, real estate, pets classified web site.

It's up to you what classified software you will choose but think of the quality and features.

    Regards, Larry.
