    I'm switching hosts.

I dumped my db into a lovely 78mb sql file.

Uploaded it to my new host.

    I get this:

    bash$ mysql -u xxxxx-pxxxxxxx aspen0_literatu_main < literatu_main.sql
ERROR 1064 at line 259: You have an error in your SQL syntax near 's ill-fated Creole wife. <br><br>The title character from Shirley was an attempt' at line 1
    bash$
Alright the SQL file is 160,000 lines long. If there is a problem every 250 lines I can never do this.

So whats the deal? I didn't alter or edit the file in any way.

Only thing I can think of is I uploaded in binary mode instead of ascii mode.

Well I just spent 2 hours uploading in ascii mode and that didn't fix it - same error.

Anyone know why I can't use a dump I didn't edit to enter all my info?

Are there any characters in the sql string that mysql server is complaining about that may be corrupting the query - such as single quotes?
