I often have so many tabs open in Firefox they go off the right side of the tab bar. Anybody know of a plugin or other way that lets you access tabs that are off the screen? A scroll bar for the tab bar would be nice.![]()

Or a way to group tabs. Like you could click a general tab (say "computers"), then whatever tab windows you put in that group would appear.

I don't know of a plugin that does either of those things but weren't you the one having trouble with Firefox eating so much memory? Having so many tabs might be the reason for it...![]()

Yeah yeahIt's doing better right now - about 40 tabs open and it's using 122MB. I still have about half of my 1GB of RAM available. I hear PR1 has addressed many memory leaks/issues.

My god. Why do you need so many open tabs? Why not use the same tab for several different sites? I don't think I've ever opened any more than about 10 tabs at once.
I take it you've already checked out the Firefox Exentions page? If you're using PR1 you'll probably need to wait for a while before all extentions have been updated.

You can view several different sites at once in the same tab?? Sweet. Dude lemme know how.Originally Posted by KeithMcL
Try scrolling through your available tabs by holding down the ctrl key and hitting tab until you find the one you want.![]()

Ah, that works.Originally Posted by vgarcia
I thought there used to be an extension that added a "Tab" menu and it listed all open tabs, among other options. I also thought that there was a "tab groups" extension. Last I looked I didn't see either. I guess they weren't upgraded to 0.9-1.0.

I guess having 1GB of RAM means you don't need to worry about memory problems that often![]()
